Family News: Niagara & No Migraines!

This summer we had the opportunity to travel with Beth’s parents to upstate NY to visit extended family.  While in that part of the country, we spent a few days at Niagara Falls.  What a breath-taking view of God’s glory in His creation!  We had a fun week of adventure traveling for many hours with our 2 year old in the car!

We want to thank you, sincerely, for faithfully praying for our health in the last few years.  Most of you know that Beth has suffered from severe chronic migraines for the entirety of our marriage, and they have put a damper on both our personal and professional at times.  After 4 months of some of the worst pain she’s ever had, she suddenly had an 18 day break with no migraines, whatsoever.

At this point she is enjoying being mostly migraine free for the first time in over 8 years.  While we have some ideas about what brought on this change, we don’t know for certain what has caused it.  So we continue to pray for wisdom in that area.

Meanwhile, we praise God for this gracious provision of miraculous health and are asking him to make it long-term.  We know not his will, but we know he is good in sickness or health.  We are hopeful that this healing will enable us to be even more devoted to the campus than we’ve been able to.

Julian continues to grow big and strong (and talkative)!  He is 2 ½ and will be starting preschool this September at a church near CNU, so Beth can enjoy some more hours on campus while Julian plays and learns.
