Words That Bring Life – Spring Update

Live from St. Louis, it’s CNU at Urbana ’15!

We invited a few of them to share about their experience at our first Large Group of the semester.  It was so encouraging to see how they were convicted and encouraged by the gospel of Jesus!  Thank you for praying!

Eastern Virginia Area Conference 2016: “Words That Bring Life”

About 60 CNU students joined 300 others from Eastern Va. schools at our annual conference in Hampton.  It was an incredibly life-giving weekend as former IV staff Percy Strickland (photo-bombing top left) shared the story of Redemption with us, and encouraged us to share this good news back on campus.  Once again I (Eric) had the privilege of directing the music and running the audio, video, and lighting for the main sessions.

Bringing Life To Campus

As a response to what we learned at the Conference above, InterVarsity students recently shared this mural with CNU for 2 days. Most images are representations of Jesus healing people. We had some great gospel conversations!

A sermon from Eric: “Luther’s Little Bible”

Eric recently had the opportunity to preach at By Grace Community Church.  He had shared a similar message at CNU in the Fall.  Please listen and be encouraged!

An Opportunity For the Gospel on Campus (and you’re invited!)

Please pray with us, and join us if you would like for this special event:

On Thursday, March 10, at 7:30 in Gaines Theater we will again host my friend David Bailey and Urban Doxology for a night of song and gospel teaching. Pray that many would come and hear the good news. We are advertising this free event heavily to the campus community. AND, as I said, you’re all invited to join us!

Speaking of Bringing Life…

The Gambardella family has some big news:

Baby Cropped

We are having another baby!

Please join us in thanking God for this grace, as well as praying for his mercy.  As with our first pregnancy, Beth has been extremely ill. We are thankful for friends and family who are helping us through this trying time, and are being reminded to lean on God and not our own abilities.

Financial Update:

We are so grateful for those of you who have been giving regularly, and for those who have given gifts in the past couple of months! Thank You!  This ministry of the gospel cannot happen without you!

We are hoping to raise an additional $2,500 before June 30. Would you consider giving a gift to help us meet this goal?
